39 Droghadfayle Road, Port Erin, Isle of Man, IM9 6EN, British Isles.
The business is registered in the Isle of Man.
Andrew is a qualified Hill & Moorland Leader through Mountain Training (before April 2014 this qualification was known as Walking Group Leader). He is also an approved Provider and Course Director for Mountain Training’s Hill Skills course.
He is a Manx Registered Tour Guide and a member of the Guild of Manx Registered Tour Guides (equivalent to a Level 4 Blue Badge Guide).
|With a background in archaeology, prehistoric technology and interpretation, he has over 35 years’ experience in the interpretation and museum sector in Orkney, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Hull and on the Isle of Man, where he worked as Head of Professional Services for Manx National Heritage, the Isle of Man’s cultural and natural heritage agency.
He is a Training Officer with the Isle of Man Civil Defence and instructs in map reading, navigation, hill skills, search, safety & survival as well as a range of other topics.
Andrew gets out into the countryside and hill land whenever he can on the Isle of Man, across the British Isles and beyond. A diving instructor through the British Sub-Aqua Club, he also has a range of training in Bushcraft and Survival skills and wild camping. He can put together a programme for a very wide range of interests and entry levels.
