The Isle of Man
Sitting in the middle of the Irish Sea, the Isle of Man is a gem of a place to explore on foot.
You’ll find Traa dy liooar (‘time enough’ in Manx Gaelic) to enjoy the views, heritage and wildlife as you explore the coasts, countryside, glens and moorland routes at walking pace. Then drop into a café or a pub for local refreshment and food.

Hill Skills course – 16-17 August 2025
Our next Hills Skills course will run over the weekend of Sat 16 – Sun 17 August. Accredited by Mountain Training England, this is a great course for anyone wanting to develop or improve their skills for preparing hikes in the countryside or to gain confidence to go walking in places that are new to them. The cost of the weekend course is £120 per person including loan of maps and compass.
