Thank you for your company in 2022! I’ve had the pleasure to meet up again with good friends and make many new ones. With your support Go-Mann Adventures gained a Tripadvisor “Travellers’ Choice” Award this year and again achieved Isle of Man Tour Operator for in the World Travel Awards.
If you’d like to improve your navigation and hike planning skills, have a look at our Calendar for the National Navigation Award Scheme courses I offer or the Hills Skills courses.
Bookable walks will start in mid-March, but if you’d like to explore the Isle of Man before then, get in touch.
All the best from Go-Mann Adventures.

I hope that you stay safe, well and entertained this Christmas and that 2022 brings good things.
Thank you for your support this year and I look forward to walking with you or guiding you round the Isle of Man in the coming year!
It was great to make new friends and meet up again with existing ones in 2021 on tours, walks and skills courses. Thank you for the feedback which has helped Go-Mann Adventures achieve Isle of Man Tour Operator for 2021 in the World Travel Awards and a Tripadvisor “Travellers’ Choice” Award.
The start of 2022 could be a difficult one, but hopefully with care we can get through the other side of the next months and get some greater freedom. So I [More…]
It gets quieter for Go-Mann Adventures over the winter months, and we’re going to make the most of that opportunity and prepare some new walks ready for the next season. If you’d like to help us by sending us ideas for your next guided walk (maybe you’ve already done our popular ones?), we’d appreciate hearing them and will take them into account.
And we’d like to help you by letting you know the results of our endeavours, so if you’d like to be informed when new walks are added to our programme, please sign up to our mailing list. You’ll find the form at the bottom of the home page and we promise not to bombard you with messages, and of course you [More…]
It’s been a great summer in the hills on the Isle of Man with some exceptionally good weather (alongside the wetter kind of weather, that CAN be fun too!). Our programme continues now into the autumn with some mountain training courses (see the events page for details), and if you want something that’s not in the programme, please get in touch and we’ll arrange something to suit.
It’s great to be back out on the hills on the Isle of Man with no restrictions and we’ve lots of walks in the calendar for June and July. See what takes your fancy and get in touch to explore the glorious Isle of Man.
We enter lockdown tomorrow on the Isle of Man and I’ll be suspending Go-Mann Adventures guided walks and courses until things change. On the Isle of Man we are blessed with wonderful scenery and easy access to it. Each day the daylight lasts a little longer. Take time to walk or exercise as we’re allowed and look for the changes in nature, the views, the hints of spring and share them. Take care of yourself, your loved ones and those you meet. Try to do something that will help your neighbours and those who can’t get out. Stay active, stay positive, stay well, stay safe. Andrew
If you’re looking for a special gift for Christmas, a personalised Go-Mann Adventures gift voucher for a guided walk or skills course might be just the thing.
And in the run up to Christmas we have two themed walks, one around Cregneash on Monday 21st December with Carols, and the other exploring Bradda Head in the hunt for the Christmas tree on Wednesday 23rd December. Have a look at the Calendar for details.
Go-Mann Adventures has been named as the Isle of Man’s leading tour operator for 2020 by the World Travel Awards!!!!
Thanks for the support!
2020 has been a difficult year for anyone in the leisure and tourism business, but with the support of Island residents, visitors from Guernsey, Chris Littler web design and the Department for Enterprise, Go-Mann has offered a wide range of guided walks and outdoor skills courses during 2020.
The World Travel Awards™ was established in 1993 to acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence across all key sectors of the travel, tourism and hospitality industries. Voting for the Award comes from qualified executives working within travel and tourism and the consumer travel buyer.

In the meantime, we’re planning ahead for when there are changes in restrictions and looking at ways to help you enjoy the great outdoors with us again.
