Award Description
Aim: To be able to plan and follow routes in the countryside using paths and tracks.

Course details
The NNAS Bronze Award is a course to develop navigation and map reading skills using tracks and footpaths through the countryside and hill land.

Day 1 of the course will begin in Peel and uses the NNAS Bronze course syllabus using easily recognisable features and footpaths to provide good core skills using a range of maps and map scales.

On Day 2 we review the training and then head for another part of the Island to practice skills and then the assessment using a mix of footpaths and tracks.
