Round the Sound

Take in the views on one of the best coastal walks in the British Isles! We explore near the Chasms (deeply fissured rock formations), the Sugarloaf (home to kittiwakes, guillemots and razorbills), the promontories of Black Head and Spanish Head, and views over the Sound to the Calf of Man and Kitterland with their colonies of seals…..and much more. Then back to Port Erin and Port St Mary.

Moderate difficulty with steep slopes and uneven paths – but worth it! About 12km distance with 270m height gained.
